It's a rainy Monday in southern California and we don't get many of those (rainy days, I mean ... not Mondays) ... so I'm enjoying the blustery weather. I've been busy preparing for a fundraiser in April for Acacia Quilt Guild, and I'm looking forward to a wonderful event that will raise money to let the guild keep doing the wonderful work that it does in the local community. I love philanthropy quilting. I get to play with patterns and threads, have a lot of fun doing it, and give something back to the quilting community that gives me so much. If you see events advertised for your local guilds, please go and support them. Their work brings comfort and joy to so many people!
I've also been adding some new items to the shop--some more of the sewing notions that I use and love. You can grab yourself some high-quality Schmetz machine needles, Clover self-threading hand sewing needles and flower head pins, Dritz marking pens, and serrated thread snips.
There are also new fat quarter bundles for you to enjoy!
And we have some new Glide threads coming soon, so watch for a separate announcement when those are available. The new colors are SO EXCITING! (No, I don't have a thread problem. I don't know what you're talking about.)
